Overview
The BIMSTEC nations' heads of government will participate in this Summit virtually, while foreign secretary and minister-level delegations will attend in person. The Summit will be opened by Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

MoU on Mutual Cooperation between Diplomatic Training or Academia Institutions of BIMSTEC Member States, BIMSTEC Convention on Criminal Matters Mutual Legal Assistance, Memorandum of Association (MoA) Establishment of BIMSTEC Technology Transfer Facility in Colombo, BIMSTEC Master Plan for Transport Connectivity, BIMSTEC's sub-sectors and sectors have been reorganised and rationalised. The subject of the 5th BIMSTEC Summit is "BIMSTEC-Towards a Resilient Region, Prosperous Economies, and Healthy Peoples."
BIMSTEC Information
The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation, or BIMSTEC, intends to establish an environment conducive to fast economic growth while also boosting collaboration in the area. Its headquarters are in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka currently holds the presidency.

It is made up of seven member countries: India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Thailand.
