The institution will induct retired army and naval officers as faculty members to help students prepare for admittance into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other services. They will be able to guide students based on their real-life experiences.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Tuesday, March 22 that students will be taught all of the skills required to enter officer-level posts in the armed forces, including the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
The school will be built on a 14-acre campus in the Jharoda Kalan region of the national capital, with a total capacity of 200 seats—100 for Class 9 students and 100 for Class 11 students.
Mr Kejriwal stated that 18,000 applications had already been received for only 200 places.
Admissions Fees and Procedures:
Any Delhi resident would be able to enrol in the residential school, which will be free of cost. The school's admissions process will be two-staged, beginning with an ability test and ending with a physical fitness test.
