The National Institute of Technology (NIT) of Andhra Pradesh has organised a three-day techno-cultural event to allow students to showcase their talents, skills, and creativity in a variety of contests such as drones, robotics, 3D printing, coding, painting, singing, dance, music, drama, short film, and photography. From March 17 to March 20, the Annual Students' Techno-Cultural Festival 'VULCANZY 2022' was held. After a two-year gap, the event was held in an offline format.

The objective, according to a statement from NIT Andhra Pradesh, is to give a refreshing environment for students to forget about their troubles during the COVID-19 pandemic and to demonstrate their hidden abilities and creativity in areas other than academics.

The pupils performed a variety of acts, including dancing, singing, and playing musical instruments, as well as taking part in a number of technical activities. According to the statement, the festival showcased a blend of technology and India's diverse culture.

According to the official statement, the festival featured 50 online events from 17 technical and cultural clubs, including Praayatnam, Swar Sudha, Dance and Dramatics, Painting and Photography, Literary and Debate, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell, Shreshta, AI and Robotics, Graphics Café, Nature and Value Education, Magazine, Task Force, Physical Education, Shilpi, E-Yantra, Brindavaram, Chitram, and eight Institute Departmental Associations.

The ceremony was broadcast live on the 'NIT Andhra Pradesh' Institute YouTube Channel, with over 8,000 individuals tuning in.

"The event VULCANZY is a complete student centric bonanza that offers interesting workshops, enthralling talks, fascinating shows, informal events, and exciting competitions that marked the essence of the fest," said Chief Guest Dr. Y Sreenivasa Rao, Scientist DRDO and Director, Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL), Visakhapatnam, speaking at the techno fest's inaugural event. Furthermore, the event exposed students from all throughout the country."
