The dates for the Uccha Madhyamik, class 12 exams 2022 have been revised by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). The Higher Secondary Test will be place from April 2 to 27, and the class 12 exam will begin with the Bengali language paper.
Following the by-elections in the Asansol and Ballygunge assembly constituencies, the exam dates were changed. On April 12, by-polls will be performed, and the counting procedure will begin on April 16.

Meanwhile, the WBJEE 2022 will take place on April 30, although the state Joint Entrance Examination was previously slated for April 23. To avoid clashes with JEE, the council has previously altered the dates for some Class 12 papers (Main). "For the greater interest and convenience of the candidates who will be trying JEE Main together with HS test, the council has changed dates of the examination," the HS council said in a statement.
