Description

The winners of the 75th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) were revealed on March 13, 2022, in a glittering event at London's Royal Albert Hall. Jane Campion received two BAFTAs for her work on 'The Power of the Dog,' including Best Picture and Best Director. Will Smith was named Best Actor for his performance in 'King Richard,' while Joanna Scanlan was named Best Actress for her performance in 'After Love.'

Dune received five BAFTA 2022 nominations for Best Original Score, Cinematography, Production Design, Sound, and Visual Effects, while West Side Story received two nominations for Best Supporting Actress for Ariana DeBose and Best Casting. Encanto was named Best Animated Film at the BAFTAs in 2022, Summer of Soul was named Best Documentary, and Belfast was named Outstanding British Film.
