The Joint Entrance Examination dates have been changed by the National Testing Agency (JEE Main 2022). The JEE Main exam, which was originally planned for April 16, will now take held on April 21. According to the NTA, JEE Main dates were changed after candidates requested that the dates of session 1 be changed because they clashed with their board exam dates. The National Testing Agency has decided to rearrange the dates of JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1 due to persistent demand from the student community and their support, according to an NTA notification.
The dates for JEE Main have been changed to April 21, 24, 25, 29, and May 1, 4. The undergraduate engineering exam was originally planned for April 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, but was postponed.
The JEE Main 2022 exam is for candidates seeking undergraduate admission to engineering and architectural programmes at Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) across the country. Top-scorers in JEE Main will be eligible to compete in JEE Advanced 2022 based on their performance. JEE Main will be held for two papers: Paper 1, which is for BTech, and Paper 2, which is for BArch and BPlaning. Paper 2A and Paper 2B will be conducted separately for the BArch and BPlanning examinations.
