In the mop-up round of counselling, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has added more MBBS and BDS seats. Additional MBBS seats have been added to Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences in Karad, Pt. Raghunath Murmu Medical College in Baripada, Odisha, and Gajra Raja Medical College in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, as well as BDS seats at Govt. Dental College, RIMS, Kadapa.

"The Medical Counselling Committee has received information from the following Institutes about new seats that the college was unable to contribute due to late receipt of Letters of Permission (LoPs) i.e. after the start of Round-2 of UG Counselling 2021 or those who were unable to contribute their seats within the stipulated time," according to an MCC statement.

As a result, the DGHS MCC has added the following MBBS seats to the Mop Up Round of UG Counselling seat matrix, it said.

MCC is in charge of NEET UG counselling for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Armed Force Medical Services (AFMS), and AIIMS and JIPMER seats under the AIQ, as well as seats at central and deemed universities, Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Armed Force Medical Services (AFMS), and AIIMS and JIPMER.

The NEET mop-up round registration and payment deadline is March 14.
