Description
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has requested that medical colleges update their websites by March 31. "The National Medical Commission's Medical Assessment and Rating Board, New Delhi, congratulates the medical colleges on the start of the academic year 2021-22." We are pleased to see that some colleges' websites have been updated. "Some colleges have yet to update their information," the NMC stated in a notification.
The commission has requested that colleges update their websites before the deadline, and failure to do so will result in penalties.
Meanwhile, the NMC has approved the completion of the necessary 12-month internship in India for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) who have returned to India from Ukraine.
"Considering the anguish and stress experienced by foreign medical graduates, their application to complete the remaining portion of an internship in India is considered eligible," the NMC said. As a result, state medical councils may process the application provided that the candidates have cleared FMGE before applying for internship completion in India."
