PM Modi underlined the significance of renewable energy in India when speaking at a webinar on 'Energy for Sustainable Growth,' and asked the people of the country to create their own solar trees, which may help save up to 15% on power. India's energy consumption will grow in the near future, necessitating a conversion to renewable energy. As a result, every Indian family should plant solar trees, which may save up to 15% on power. Solar trees should be included in the plans and constructions of the nation's builders and architects.

India's Solar Tree

In 2016, the CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute in Durgapur designed a novel Solar Tree model for usage in communities, national roads, and power grid systems in order to alleviate the country's electricity problem by boosting the percentage of renewable energy. The suggested structure can generate electricity in the range of 3-7 Kwh with a low footprint of 22 sqft.
