Description
With Delhi University's first-year exams scheduled to be held next month, some colleges are planning to conduct classes in hybrid mode (offline and online) and will also give students the option to choose from their preferred mode. DU colleges are all set to reopen and resume offline classes from February 17.
Some institutions, such as Miranda House, will hold classes in a hybrid style for first-year students, but second and third-year students will have to attend classes in person.
Miranda House Principal Bijayalaxmi Nanda told PTI, "We will have a blended/hybrid method of instruction, and kids will be provided academic support to relieve stress."
Second and third-year students, she said, will study in an offline mode but will receive academic help through online materials.
Due to upcoming exams, first-year students will be given the option of attending online classes. "We've gotten a lot of inquiries from them (for offline classes). Second, they only have 20 days to complete their online tests "When asked about it, Nanda responded.
Final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students were allowed to return to college in September, but attendance was low.
