The tentative date for the Semester 2 exams has been issued by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), which conducts the ICSE Class 10th and ISC Class 12th annual exams. The semester 2 exams for ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 will be held in the last week of April. CISCE said in a statement that the exact timetable would be revealed soon.
In addition, schools have been instructed not to hold pre-board tests until the semester 2 portions of the shortened syllabus have been thoroughly updated and completed, according to a CISCE statement. Pre-board exams should ideally be held between the end of March and the beginning of April.
CISCE is using a new technique of conducting examinations for the board test in 2022. The academic year has been divided into two semesters, with each semester covering approximately half of the material. In November and December of 2021, the first semester exams were held. In light of the disruption in educational activities caused by COVID-19, the Board has also shortened the syllabi for different topics for ICSE and ISC students.
On February 7, CISCE released the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 results for Semester 1 exams. The council, on the other hand, did not provide any hard copies of the results of the semester 1 Class 10, 12 examinations. After the Semester 2 Examination, the overall result - Pass Certificate Awarded or Pass Certificate Not Awarded/ Eligible for Compartment Examination – will be announced.
