According to state Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, the Madhya Pradesh government is planning to start the MBBS degree in Hindi in Bhopal's Gandhi Medical College from the next academic session. The state will be the first to provide the MBBS course in Hindi, according to the minister.
"The MBBS course at Bhopal's Gandhi Medical College will begin in Hindi from the next session, which will begin in two months. To design the work plan for the MBBS Hindi curriculum, a 14-member team led by Medical Education Director Dr. Jiten Shukla has been formed "According to PTI, he stated.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Republic Day that MBBS and other medical courses would be taught in Hindi, prompting the department to take this action, according to the minister.
"In the presence of Atal Bihari Hindi University and Gandhi Medical College officials, the minister met with subject specialists a few days ago to discuss getting books prepared in Hindi for first-year MBBS students.
