"The government is glad to authorise the reopening of private pre-school (Play & KG) from February 14 for the academic term 2021-22," the Information and Public Relations Department announced on Tuesday.

COVID-appropriate behaviour will be strictly enforced by the particular private pre-school administration, according to the statement.
According to the department, all teaching, non-teaching, and support employees must have received two doses of a COVID vaccination. It went on to say that school officials should take special care of the young students.
Odisha schools' timing
According to a government directive, class times for pupils enrolled in School and Mass Education Department schools will be 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for Classes 8-12 and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. for Classes 1-7.
The Indian government has previously advised states to restart schools in districts with a positive rate of less than 5%.

On Monday, the state of Odisha recorded 1,497 new infections, increasing the overall number of COVID-19 infections in the state to 12,68,308, while the daily positive rate dropped to 3.18 percent.
