Description

The Master of Arts (English) programme will be offered online by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The Master's Degree in English is designed to provide students with a solid understanding of English and American literatures, as well as new areas of literature such as Canadian, Australian, and Indian English.

"The students would gain an understanding of English and other literatures of their choice through historio-critical perspectives. This programme would require a solid understanding of reading, comprehension, and writing skills. Literary Criticism and Theory, Aspects of Language, Comparative Literature, British Literature, New Literature in English, Writings From The Margins, Writings From India, American Literature, and The Novel will be among the courses offered in the virtual MA English programme.

Course fee : 

The course fee for the programme is Rs 13,600, with an additional Rs 200 application fee.
