Festival of Independence is known as Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav. Swarnim Bharat ke Ore is a Hindi phrase that meaning "Golden India." "Azadi ka Amrit to Golden India" is the title of the show. On January 20, 2022, the programme began. PM Modi was the one who initiated it.

Concerning the programme

It is the culmination of the Brahma kumaris' year-long festivities of azadi ke amrit. 15000 events and 30 campaigns will be organised as part of the effort. Ricky Reyes, a Grammy Award winner, will perform a song in honour of the occasion.

The events will take place in hospitals and medical schools. It will be centred on health, spirituality, and nutrition.

There will also be doctor talks, cancer screenings, and medical camps.

There are seven initiatives.

During the programme, the Prime Minister announced the following seven initiatives:

Atma Nirbhar Bharat Women: Flag Bearers of India Green efforts under Mera Bharat Swasth Bharat Self-reliant farmer projects under Atma Nirbhar Bharat

Initiatives under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan include a cycling rally on "Undiscovered India" and a motorbike campaign on "Unite India."

Brahmakumaris

It is a religious group with its headquarters on Mount Abu. It is committed to both global and personal rejuvenation. It was founded in 1937. The organisation today has a presence in over 130 countries.

Initiatives to help farmers become more self-sufficient

75 farmer empowerment projects, 75 yogic farmer training programmes that are sustainable and 75 farmer conferencesampaign for Peace on the Bus

There will be 75 cities covered. It will demonstrate the youth's good change.

Rally for Bicycles

It will take place at several heritage locations. It will concentrate on the relationship between the environment and cultural heritage.

Campaign for Motorcycles

It will be held halfway between Mount Abu and Delhi. It will cover a number of cities.

Swachh Bharat (Clean India)

It consists of a public awareness campaign, a cleaning drive, and community cleaning projects.

Importance

Immortality is not limited to physical life in the Indian culture. It's an embodied sense of oneness with the universe. This idea will be at the centre of all endeavours.
