2022 National Youth Festival
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will use video conferencing to kick off the 25th National Youth Festival in Puducherry today. The celebration will be place online, with the inauguration being followed by a National Young Summit aimed at igniting and uniting the youth in their efforts to build a better country.
Several events, including over 250 cultural activities, painting contests, over 800 essay and elocution competitions, 58 blood donation camps, and about 165 online Yoga sessions, will be hosted throughout states during National Youth Week, which will take place between January 12 and 19, 2022.

1. Swami Vivekananda was an Indian philosopher and monk. He was the principal student of Ramakrishna, an Indian saint who lived in the 19th century. The Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission were created by him.
2. He was a crucial figure in the introduction of Indian Vedanta and Yoga teachings and practises to the Western world.
3. In the late 1800s, he is credited with elevating Hinduism to the position of a significant international religion. With his famous address that started with the words "Sisters and brothers of America...," he had presented Hinduism before the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893.
4. Swami Vivekananda was a superb orator and writer who spoke and wrote in both English and Bengali. The majority of his published writings were assembled from spontaneous lectures he gave all over the world. Raja Yoga, which consisted of seminars he gave in New York, was his principal effort.
5. While India celebrates National Youth Day on January 12, World Brotherhood Day is commemorated on September 11, 1893, the day he delivered his stirring address before the Parliament of Religions.
