Description
On December 10, CBSE class 12 students will take the Physics term 1 paper. This paper's code is 042, and the exam will be held in a single shift from 11.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The CBSE has released a sample question paper and marking scheme for the Physics paper to make it easier for students to prepare for the exam and familiarise themselves with the exam format.

CBSE physics marking scheme for class 12:
Students taking the CBSE class 12 physics exam tomorrow should review the official sample paper and marking scheme.
1. The CBSE class 12 exam is being administered using OMR sheets.
2. The CBSE class 12 physics question paper will be divided into three sections: section A, which will have 25 questions and students will be required to attempt any 20 of them; section B and Section C, which will have 24 questions and 6 questions, respectively. Students in section B must attempt any 20 questions, while students in section C must attempt any 5 questions.
3. There will be no negative marking, and all questions will be worth the same amount of points.
4. The exam will be worth 35 points, and candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the paper.
5. CBSE has asked schools to ensure that students use block letters to mark responses on the OMR sheet beginning December 7. The Board stated in a communique issued on Monday that this decision was made to avoid confusion between small letters.
