Description

The schedule for merit and entrance exam-based admissions to postgraduate programmes has been announced by the University of Delhi. The first merit list for DU PG will be released on November 17. Admissions will be verified and approved by departments and colleges between November 18 and November 22 and the deadline for paying the admission fee is November 23.

The Round 2 allotment list will be released on November 26th, and admissions will take place from November 27th to November 30th. The deadline for fee payment is December 3rd. DU PG admissions will be completed in three rounds in 2021. On December 3, the merit list for the third round will be published.

According to information provided by Delhi University, 1,83,815 students applied for postgraduate admissions this year.

This rule will be used to break ties in allotment lists for both entrance and merit-based admissions:

1. Candidates with higher qualifying exam scores will be prioritised in the admissions process, followed by

2. Candidates with a higher percentage in their final year of their bachelor's degree, then the previous year, and so on.

3. If there is a tie, candidates with higher aggregate marks (five subjects plus one language) in the Class 12 board examination will be given preference.
