The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the results of the second round of JEE Advanced and JEE Main counselling. The allotment list is now available at the official website, thus candidates can check their admission status by logging in to the official website using their JEE Main or Advanced application numbers and passwords. Candidates selected for admission in the second round must apply online and pay the admission fee on November 2 or 3, 2021.

The seats were allocated based on their merit, the options entered by candidates in the online application, and the availability of seats. On October 27, the JoSAA counselling round 1 seat allotment result was announced.

To view the JoSAA Seat Allotment Result for Round 2 online, follow these steps:

1. Visit the counselling website.

2. Click the 'View Seat Allotment Result - Round 2' link on the homepage.

3. Enter your JEE Main or Advanced application number and password to gain access.

4. Submit your application and gain access to the JoSAA's second phase seat allotment results.

Admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Government Funded Technical Institutes is handled through the JoSAA (GFTIs). JEE Advanced qualified candidates can apply for admission to all institutions, whereas JEE Main qualified candidates can only apply to NITs and IIITs.
