In terms of the term 1 exam, the board has stated that each exam will last 90 minutes. The exam will begin at 11.30 a.m. instead of 10.30 a.m. due to the winter session, according to the board. For all categories of candidates, the reading time will be 20 minutes rather than 15 minutes. Practical exams will be held prior to the end of the term exams.
After the second term exam, the final results for classes 10 and 12 will be announced. This year, the Board has divided the academic session into two parts, with each term covering roughly half of the syllabus. “This is done to increase the probability of having a Board conducted classes X and XII examinations at the end of the academic session,” the Board had said in July.
