Description

The final solution key and result for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced will be revealed on October 15. On the official website, category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) will be announced alongside the results. The students' aggregate marks in JEE Advanced will be used to create the JEE Advanced 2021 rank list.

For the JEE Advanced rating, students who took both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be evaluated. The preliminary answer key for JEE Advanced 2021 was posted on 10 October at the official website.

JEE Advanced 2021: Minimum Percentage Needed For Rank List

Students should get a minimum percentage of marks to be considered for the JEE Advanced rank list. Here is the category wise minimum marks needed as prescribed by the IIT Kharagpur:

Tie-Breaking Criteria for JEE Advanced 2021:

1. In the event that two or more students have the same grade, the following tie-breaking mechanism will be used:

2. If the tie still exists, students with more positive replies will be evaluated.

3. Mathematical scores were higher after that,

4. In Physics, I received higher grades.

5. If there is still a tie, students will be given the same rank.

JEE Advanced 2021: Marks Calculation

Students' marks will be computed by combining the scores of both Paper 1 and Paper 2 according to the procedure outlined in the JEE Advanced information brochure. For example, total marks in Physics will be computed by adding the marks earned in Paper 1's physics component to the marks earned in Paper 2's physics section. The same approach will be used to obtain Chemistry and Mathematics grades.
