The board did not provide information about ordinary students who passed the exam because their results had already been released and their grades looked to have improved. The date of pronouncement of outcome, according to information presented to the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, was 30.09.2021.
“Regular category candidates were already declared pass and appear in this examination for the purpose of improvement of their performance,” the CBSE said. “Universities who have taken the API link from CBSE, marks of the candidate whose result has been declared today will automatically be updated,” it added.
In light of COVID-19, the CBSE did not conduct board exams for normal students in Class 10 and Class 12 this year and instead declared results based on students' performance in previous exams but however, provided students with the opportunity of taking an extra exam in order to enhance their grades. The compartment exam results for Class 12 have also been released. The CBSE, on the other hand, has announced that it will conduct offline tests for private and patrachar students because the board lacks sufficient data on these students to compile results using an alternate technique.
