The registration and fee payment period for JEE Advanced 2021, the entrance exam for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), ends today, September 21. Candidates who have yet to apply can do so at the official website. Candidates who met the category-wise cut-offs in JEE Main 2021, or who finished in the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Mains, are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced. The cut-offs are lower this year than they were last year.

JEE Advanced online registration began on September 16, and the exam is scheduled for October 3. The application and fee payment deadlines were previously extended. The admit card for JEE Advanced 2021 will be available on September 25, and the results will be announced on October 15.
The registration fee for JEE Advanced 2021 is Rs. 2800 for the general category and Rs 1,400 for the SC, ST, and PwD categories. According to a recent notification from JEE Advanced 2021 organising institute IIT Kharagpur, candidates who are unable to upload a valid category certificate during registration can instead upload a self-declaration form and upload the valid certificate during JoSAA counselling.
