The Haryana State Government has allowed colleges in the state to reopen for offline classes. As per the announcement, Haryana Colleges, Polytechnic Colleges, and so on have been allowed to reopen for offline classes. According to the official order, the government has decided to extend the Mahamari alert-Surakshit Haryana for the time being.
The Haryana state government has decided to extend the order for nearly 15 days beginning September 20, 2021, and ending October 4, 2021. The government has also ensured that the low number of COVID-19 cases continues as educational institutions reopen in stages.
When the colleges and polytechnic institutions reopen, everyone is required to follow the COVID-19 safety protocols, according to the official order. Everyone is expected to adhere to social distancing rules and to avoid overcrowding. The Standard Operating Procedures for the reopening will be issued. Guidelines have been put in place, and all colleges and polytechnics can bring in their own set of guidelines to ensure everyone's safety.
Although Haryana Colleges and Polytechnics are reopening, residential universities have not been notified of their reopening. The state government has announced that a decision on reopening the residential universities will be made after a thorough analysis of the situation after October 15, 2021, until which everyone has been asked to continue with online classes.
