The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) is planning to hold Class 10 and 12 Board Exams in two terms in 2022. The first term will be held in November-December 2021, followed by the second term in February-March 2022. As we approach the middle of September, CBSE is expected to release the CBSE Term 1 date sheet on October 10, 2021. For more information, students can go to the official website, cbse.gov.in.
The central board has directed affiliated schools to submit a list of students taking the Class 10 and 12 board exams prior to the release of the CBSE Term 1 date sheet. CBSE has opened the window for LOC submissions on September 17, 2021, and it will close on September 30, 2021. Students should fill out the data carefully because once submitted, it will be considered final.
In the event that the Term 2 exam is disrupted, the Term 1 exam will be given more weightage. However, the decision will be made "only near the end of Term 2 exams." Students should be aware that they will not receive the final result until both terms are completed. Furthermore, if schools open during the months of February/March but are closed during the months of November/December due to the prevailing pandemic, the term 2 exam will be given more weightage for assessing the student's performance. In case, the schools are completely closed due to the pandemic then, the students will be marked based on their internal assessment.
