The deadline for new admissions to the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for the July semester has been extended. The application and re-registration deadlines for the July session have been extended until August 31, 2021. Across many fields, the university offers over 200 degrees, certificates, undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate diplomas, postgraduate certificates, and appreciation/awareness courses.

New applicants must create an account, fill out the required information, and choose the programme they want to pursue. All applicants are advised to read the rules carefully before submitting the application form.

Re-registration deadlines for the July 2021 session have also been extended until August 16. The process of registering for the next year/semester of a certain programme is known as re-registration. This only applies to students who are currently enrolled in a two- or three-year undergraduate, postgraduate, or semester-based programme at the university.

Meanwhile, IGNOU has extended the deadline for submitting term-end examinations (TEE) assignments, project reports, dissertations, fieldwork journals, internships, and other materials until June 2021. TEE exam forms can be submitted online until August 31.
