The University of Mumbai has officially started the online application process from today, that is, from August 5, 2021. The online application process for undergraduate courses at the University of Mumbai began just two days after the announcement of the 2021 result of the Maharashtra HSC. Applicants can register for admission to the University of Mumbai 2021 by logging into the examination portal.

Along with launching an online application process for candidates wishing to enter the University of Mumbai, the university has also published a list of important dates and related events that are part of this year's admission schedule. The online pre-registration process, which began today, will run until August 14, 2021 with the first list of merit to be published on August 17, 2021.

Taking into account the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, a complete admissions system for the University of Mumbai has been made online to limit student-to-student contact. Likewise, a college affiliated with a university was asked to set up an online application system to avoid physical interaction. In places like Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Palgar, where having an online admission portal can be difficult, colleges are allowed to have an offline admissions system with strict COVID protocols.
