Maharashtra Class 10^th Board result has been announced today, July 16^th, 2021. For checking their SSC or Class 10^th results students can reach out to the board’s official websites.  This year, 99.95 percent of students have passed the Maharashtra SSC Board Examination.

Last year’s percentage was 95.30%. Once again, this year, the Konkan region has recorded the highest pass percentage – 100%. This year, 957 students have secured perfect 100% marks.

Criteria for evaluation

The Maharashtra SSC or Class 10^th Board was canceled due to the COVID – 19 pandemic, due to which the board has adopted alternative criteria for the assessment of SSC students. Students have been evaluated on the basis of their performance in Class 9^th and 10^th. 50% were from students’ performance in Class 9^th exams, 30% from internal assessments of Class 10^th, and 20% from practical, homework, or assignments.

A total of 16, 58,624 students appeared for the Maharashtra SSC Board Exam 2021, of which 9, 09,931 were boys and 7, 48,693 girls. According to the reports, girls have done a better job than boys. The pass percentage of girls is 99.96% while boys percentage is 99.94%.

This year, the state government will run an optional common entrance test (CET) for admission to Class 11^th. Exam details will be announced later.
