The Common Entrance Test (CET) for class XI of Maharashtra is expected to take place in the last week of July or the first week of August 2021. The date and time for the Maharashtra CET has yet to be announced. In addition, the FYJC Maharashtra admission procedure will be announced shortly by the state government. According to the official announcement made earlier, students who participated in the CET will have priority in admission?
About Maharashtra CET 2021
To ensure uniformity of admission to Maharashtra FYJC in 2021 and equal opportunity for all students, the state government has decided to conduct the exam when the situation is favorable. The exam will be based on the class X curriculum. The entrance exam will be asked multiple-choice questions for that exam for 100 points. Also, the CET exam will be conducted offline and on the OMR sheet.
Common entrance test
According to earlier updates, the state accepted the call as the class X Board exams was canceled and an alternative way of admission to the FYJC had to be explored. This exam will be administered to students of all boards (state boards, CBSE, CISCE, all international councils, etc.). According to the legal notice, students who appear on CET will have priority at all junior colleges.
However, CET is only an additional exam for admission to FYJC. Students wishing to participate will be admitted to the FYJC based on their CET performance score. And those who choose not to show up will be admitted based on the marks obtained from the 10th marks exam. The Maharashtra government has previously announced the evaluation criteria for the preparation of the SSC results.
Maharashtra SSC Exams 2021 evaluation criteria
The state government has decided to massively promote students in marks 10. According to the published SSC assessment criteria, students will be assessed based on their performance in class IX & X. Out of a total of 100 marks, 50 will be based on class IX performance, with the remaining 50 divided into 30 marks. For the one-year internal assessment of marks 10 and 20, the points will be for practical or homework assignments or assignments.
