The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has approved the criteria for evaluating Council X and XII examinations. The result for class X is expected to be announced by July 20, 2021. This was confirmed by Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Jharkhand. He published a letter stating that various government departments have approved the criteria that will be used to prepare Class X and XII results. Thus, the authorities can now begin work on preparing the results.
Evaluation Criteria
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will prepare the results on the chalkboard for grades X and XII based on grades obtained in previous grades. For Class X, the results will be prepared with Class IX & XI, while for Class XII, the class will be based on grades obtained in Class XI. Also, the Class IX & XI OMR sheets will be used to assess the grades for the class X & XII results. 80% of theory and 20% of practice will carry weight.
Subjects that do not include practical exams will be assessed using internal evaluation criteria. The state government will set up a committee to oversee the processing of Class X & XII and the preparation of the results.
Jharkhand Class X and XII Exams Canceled
Rajesh Kumar Sharma, the secretary of the School Education and Literacy Department, said that no decision has yet been taken on the preparation of the results of practical exams. After several discussions, the state government concluded that the formula proposed by the JAC for the preparation of the results of the Class X & XII was approved.
