Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced that physical parenting meetings for all grades will be held in Delhi's public schools. The meeting will take place from July 19 to 31, 2021 to discuss student progress in the new norm. Manish Sisodia, Delhi's Minister of Education, said that special PTMs will be held for Class VI students who enrolled in public schools this year from public schools.
Manish Sisodia's statement, he said in an online conference,
"Schools in Delhi have been closed since March last year. They were briefly open to high school earlier this year, but have been closed again due to the coronavirus situation and there is now no way to open schools anytime soon. Online classes are taking place in accordance with the schedule of classes. "
Following COVID-19 protocols
The meetings will be held in accordance with all COVID protocols and will be held over two weeks to avoid crowding on a specific day. To facilitate this, Delhi Govt. School Teachers and MCD School Teachers will conduct special PTMs for them.
Special attention to the students of the class VI
The Minister of Education also said that special attention will be paid to class VI students, whose PTMs will be conducted jointly by teachers from Delhi Public Schools and MCD Schools. Every year, about 1.7 million students in public schools join students run by the Delhi government in class VI. He also said,
“I also stressed earlier that there is a need for increased cooperation between teachers in Delhi's municipal and public schools for a smooth student transition. in 6th grade from MCD schools to city government-run schools. "
