Delhi Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam said on Friday that online or offline coaching classes for SC/ST/OBC and EWS categories will resume soon, for all those who are enrolled under a city government scheme competitive exams.
Mr. Gautam further said that when the rest of the children are taking coaching classes continuously, in such a situation, the students who are the beneficiaries of Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana shouldn't be left behind. This scheme is good for those SC/ST/OBC and EWS categories students who go for private coaching for JEE, NEET, and Civil Services.
Mr. Gautam said, "Very soon, their (students) coaching through offline or online classes going to start again."
Further, he mentioned that officers of the Scheduled Tribes- Scheduled Castes department, for conducting offline classes but should be explored keeping in mind the COVID-19 guidelines.
He also mentioned that "If it's impossible to conduct offline physical classes, then coaching of youngsters should be started through online classes." He also mentioned that a monitoring committee should also be set up for students and coaching institutes.
He also emphasized that the quality of education should be not be affected in any circumstances maintained while ensuring full participation of the students.
Mr. Gautam said a meeting to would be held next week for pointing out that the scheme allowed students to take admission in "big coaching institutes" besides impanelled institutions.
He clearly mentioned that "We need to learn to measure with coronavirus during a way that the method of building the longer term of youngsters isn't hindered."
