Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting on the progress of Nadu Nedu works in Schools and Anganwadi centers and directed the officials to organize an action plan for the implementation of the New Education Policy.
During the review meeting held at the camp office here on Thursday, the Chief Minister said not even one employee is going to be laid far away from schools and Anganwadi centers and no center is being closed and added that changes are being made within the education system after taking these two factors into consideration.
He said the most purpose of the education policy is to take care of the teacher-student ratio and added that it isn't appropriate to possess one teacher for four students or one teacher for an outsized number of scholars. He further said, “The approach of one teacher teaching all subjects is additionally incorrect."
The Chief Minister said it's important to take care of student’s teacher ratio in foundation courses as mental development is important for youngsters below eight years aged and their skills got to be improved.
The Chief Minister said the Govt. is looking forward to teaching in the English medium, striving to supply quality education to the youngsters and spending huge money for an equivalent. He said to make awareness among teachers, public representatives, and others. on the new education policy and directed the officials to clarify their doubts.
Reviewing Nadu Nedu, the Chief Minister asked the officers to organize an action decides to complete Nadu Nedu works in Anganwadi centers within two years.
CM also added that "The foundation schools concept was introduced by Central government and everybody should follow it. There are 18 subjects till class 5th and therefore the SGT teacher can't handle them and a separate teacher is required for every subject. Buy lands for schools that don't have playgrounds under the Nadu Nadu scheme and prepare an action to decide to provide sports dress and shoes additionally under the Vidya Kanuka scheme. Strengthen laboratories and libraries in class s and supply better internet facility in school libraries," he added.
In the meeting Women and Child Welfare Minister Thaneti Vanitha, School Education Principal Secretary Buditi Rajashekar, Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh, and other officials were present in the meeting.
