The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare its result by July 31st,2021. As per the combination of marks scored in classes X, XI, and pre-board exams. This policy was notified after the approval from the Supreme Court.
In the policy, which was decided by a 13-member panel set up by the board, consisted that the theory paper carries 30 percent weightage of Class X marks, 30 percentage for Class XI marks and 40 percent for Class XII marks obtained in unit test/mid-term/pre-board exams. Class X, the 30 percent marks based on the average theory component of best three performing subjects out of main five subjects will be taken.
If any student does not clear the qualifying criteria, they will be placed in the "Essential Repeat" or "Compartment" Category. The board has said that the marks in the subject-wise marks assessed by the school for 2020-2021 should be within a range of /-5 marks with the reference year. The schools have been asked to form a five-member result committee for finalizing the results.
The CBSE has asked schools to finalize results and upload them by July 15, 2021, while the final result will be declared by July 3, 2021.
