Israel Government Allow Mask drop policy From Today

The Israeli government has allowed people to go into their homes without masks effective June 15, 2021, as the number of COVID-19 cases in the country declines. According to the Israeli Ministry of Health, the indoor mask requirement will be lifted from June 15, marking the end of one of the major restrictions on the coronavirus left in Israel.
In June 2021, the country recorded either zero or one daily deaths from COVID-19. According to the Ministry of Health, the number of new infections has been steadily but gradually declining after a sharp decline in February and March 2021. The Israeli government has already lifted its obligation to wear masks outdoors from April 18, 2021. After a decline in the number of fresh COVID-19 infections in the country.

The latest mask drop policy will also apply to Ben Gurion Airport, although travelers will still face other restrictions and individual airlines will require masks on the aircraft themselves.
