ICC Test Team Ranking 2021New Zealand becomes world's no.1 Test Team

New Zealand overthrew India on June 13, 2021 and became the world's no.1 test team. The team was successful after beating England 1-0 on the same day in a two-game test streak. While the first test ended in a draw, New Zealand won the second test comfortably with eight wickets on day four at Edgbaston in Birmingham on June 13, 2021. This is England's first defeat in a series of tests at home since 2014.

New Zealand now has 123 points in the ICC men's team test rankings and is ranked first, while India is relegated to second place with 121 points. Australia is third with 108 points, while England is fourth with 107 points in the ICC men's test team rankings. New Zealand's recent victory over England in a two-match test series will give them confidence ahead of the World Testing Championship final, which may prove disadvantageous for India.
New Zealand is also the number one ODI team in the world currently at 121, followed by Australia in second at 118 and India in third at 115. England is in fourth at 115 and South Africa in fifth with a rating of 107. India last played a test streak against England at home, in which the team won 3-1.
