Madhya Pradesh Launch Yuva Shakti Corona Mukti Abhiyan program

Madhya Pradesh will launch the Yuva Shakti Corona Mukti Abhiyan program to raise awareness of the COVID-19 pandemic. Yuva Shakti Corona Mukti Abhiyan means " free from corona with the help of youth power campaign" As part of the campaign, college teachers and about 16,000 students will be made aware of the COVID-19 infection, teaching them proper behavior and COVID vaccination.

The campaign will be conducted by the Department of Higher and Technical Education in conjunction with the Department of Public Health and Family Protection. A mobile application has also been developed to effectively monitor the campaign in real time.

Madhya Pradesh is ranked 26th in India for coronavirus infection. The state has seen fewer than 500 cases in 24 hours for several days. Not a single case of the disease has been registered in twenty districts. Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur have witnessed double-digit incidents. The state conducts about 80,000 tests daily, and the recovery rate has reached 98.3 percent.
