G-7 plans 1 billion extra Covid-19 Vaccine Doses by 2022

Group of Seven (G-7) leaders pledge to deliver 1 billion additional doses of vaccines by 2022 to reach 80 percent of the world's adult population. Ahead of the G-7 summit in the UK, officials drew up a document outlining a plan to end the pandemic by December 2022. The document has not yet been finalized, but it will form the basis of the final negotiations at the Cornwall summit.
At the summit, presidents and prime ministers will pledge to deliver at least 1 billion additional doses of vaccines over the next year.

The G7 countries are also planning to commit to accelerating the transition from fossil fuel vehicles to a green transition in developing countries. Other topics for discussion include -
U.S. government plan
The US government has planned to purchase about 200 million doses in 2021 for distribution through the COVAX center to ensure equitable global distribution of the vaccine. In 2022, he will also purchase about 300 million doses. The vaccines will be provided to 92 low-income countries and the African Union.
