Delhi Development Authority’s Master plan

The Delhi Development Authority began preparations for the MPD 2041 project in 2017. It continued in lockdown amid COVID-19. The plan will be based on GIS. Thus, the area plans were prepared after digital mapping of each service, land use and infrastructure. It is the "strategic" and "incentive" structure that will drive growth in Delhi. It is prepared by eliminating loopholes in previous plans for 1962, 2001 and 2021.
Delhi's draft 2041 master plan was open to public scrutiny for the next 45 days. It will serve as a roadmap for Delhi's development for the next two decades. The Master Plan document focuses on the environment and pollution control. The plan also allows private developers to offer land pool schemes for the first time.

In an attempt to address the challenges faced during pandemics, earthquakes and floods, he proposed periodic security audits to ensure structural security and the establishment of a Disaster Response Force in Delhi.
Regeneration scheme for high-risk areas
MPD 2041 offers decentralized workplaces, open and public spaces, better habitat design and sustainable development to reduce vulnerability to airborne epidemics and similar diseases, and reduce reliance on mechanical ventilation systems.
