1. Every student has to compulsorily undertake any one project on the following topics:
Consumer Awareness
OR
Social Issues
OR
Sustainable Development
If required, students may go out for collecting data and use different primary and secondary resources to prepare the project. If possible, different forms of art may be integrated in the project work
2. All documents pertaining to assessment under this activity should be meticulously maintained by concerned schools
3.The projects carried out by the students in different topics should subsequently be shared among themselves through interactive sessions such as exhibitions, panel discussions, etc
4. A Summary Report should be prepared highlighting: objectives realized through individual work and group interactions; calendar of activities; innovative ideas generated in the process ; list of questions asked in viva voce.
5. It is to be noted here by all the teachers and students that the projects and models prepared should be made from eco-friendly products without incurring too much expenditure.
6.The Project Report should be handwritten by the students themselves.
7. Records pertaining to projects (internal assessment) of the students will be maintained for a period of three months from the date of declaration of result for verification at the discretion of Board. Subjudiced cases, if any or those involving RTI / Grievances may however be retained beyond three months.

Eligibility conditions for admission to class X.
1. Candidates who are studying in a school recognized or affiliated by this Board or any other recognized Board of Secondary Education in India.
2. Candidates cannot directly take admission in class X.
3. The candidates had completed a regular course of study for class IX and passed class IX examination from a school affiliated to this board.
4. The percentage of the candidates to appear should be 75% so that the board can make him/her eligible for the examination.
5. A candidate can be admitted to the school only if there is a transfer of parents or transfer of their family from one place to another, after obtaining the mark sheet and transfer certificate from the student duly countersigned by the educational authorities of the Board. .
6. There is no age limit for the candidates appearing for the exam.
7. The candidate must have documents in support of passing the qualifying examination or equivalent qualifying examination.

1. The difficulty level of the Social Science paper : Easy to Moderate.
2. Few of the questions of 3 marks were tricky.
3. All the questions in the paper were asked from the latest syllabus and based on NCERT textbooks.
4. The average range of expected marks was 60 to 70+ (out of 80).
