BIHAR BOARD EXAM CLASS 12TH LATEST UPDATE
Finally, wait is over and Bihar School Examination Board [BSEB] has announced class 12 Board exams date. This year class 12th board exam will be started from 01 February 2025 and will last upto 15 February 2025, it will take around 15 days to complete the class 12th board exam. The board will conduct the class 12 exam in two shifts. The first-shift exams are conducted from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm while the second shift exam will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The board is going to start the practical exams on January 10, 2025. The last practical exam will be on January 20, 2025.
Preparing for the Bihar Board Class 12 Mathematics exam requires a well-organized and systematic approach. Mathematics can be challenging, but with consistent effort and focus, you can do well. Here’s how you can prepare effectively:
1. Understand the Syllabus & Exam Pattern
i. Syllabus: Review the official syllabus to know which chapters are included and their weightage. Major topics generally include:
Algebra (Matrices, Determinants, etc.)
Calculus (Differentiation, Integration)
Vectors and 3D Geometry
Probability & Statistics
Relations and Functions
Linear Programming
ii. Exam Pattern: Understand the structure of the exam, including:
Types of questions (Multiple Choice, Short Answer, Long Answer)
Mark distribution for each section
2. Prioritize Topics Based on Weightage
i. Focus more on the chapters that carry more marks. For example, Calculus and Algebra often have a significant weightage in the exam.
ii. Practice the high-priority topics first and make sure you are comfortable with them before moving on to others.
3. Make a Study Plan
i. Create a timetable that divides your time efficiently between theory, practice, and revision.
ii. Allocate more time to difficult topics, but don’t neglect easier ones.
iii. Set daily goals (e.g., solving 20 problems from a particular chapter) and track your progress.
4. Study from NCERT Textbook
i. The NCERT book is the most important resource for Class 12 Maths. All questions in the exam are based on concepts taught in this book.
ii. Read each chapter thoroughly and try to understand the theory before jumping to problems.
iii. Pay attention to solved examples as they explain step-by-step methods.
5. Practice Regularly
i. Practice is key in mathematics! Solve as many problems as possible from different chapters. It will help you gain confidence and improve speed.
ii. Start with simple questions, then gradually increase the difficulty level. Work on both subjective and objective questions.
iii. Focus on solving previous year papers and model papers. This will help you understand the exam pattern and boost your confidence.
6. Focus on Important Topics
i. Calculus: Differentiation, integration, and application of derivatives. This is a major section, so practice solving problems involving real-world applications.
ii. Algebra: Matrices, determinants, and quadratic equations. These often have direct formula-based questions.
iii. 3D Geometry & Vectors: Understand the basics of vector operations and geometry of lines and planes in 3D.
iv. Probability and Statistics: Basic concepts like permutations and combinations, mean, median, standard deviation, and probability are crucial.
v. Linear Programming: Know how to formulate linear programming problems and solve them using graphical methods and simplex methods.
7. Solve Previous Year Papers & Mock Tests
i. Solve past year’s question papers under exam conditions to understand time management.
ii. Identify frequently asked questions or topics that tend to repeat and focus on those areas.
iii. Take mock tests to simulate the exam environment and evaluate your performance.
8. Revise Important Formulas & Theorems
i. Maintain a formula book where you write down all important formulas, theorems, and methods.
ii. Keep revising these formulas and theorems, especially before the exam.
iii. Make sure you understand when and how to apply them in different problems.
9. Focus on Concepts, Not Just Memorization
i. Mathematics is all about understanding concepts. Don’t just memorize formulas — understand their derivations and applications.
ii. If you don’t understand something, ask your teacher or peers. Clarifying doubts is crucial for better understanding.
10. Stay Calm and Confident
i. Stay confident in your preparation. Stress and panic can make the situation worse.
ii. Exam Day Tips: On the day of the exam, stay calm, read all the instructions carefully, and attempt the questions methodically.
iii. If you get stuck on one question, don’t waste too much time on it. Move on and return to it later.
