BIHAR BOARD EXAM CLASS 10TH LATEST UPDATE
Finally, wait is over and Bihar School Examination Board [BSEB] has announced class 10 Board exams date. This year class 10th board exam will be started from 17 February 2025 and will last upto 25 February 2025, it will take around 9 days to complete the class 10th board exam. The board will conduct the class 10 exam in two shifts. The first-shift exams are conducted from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm while the second shift exam will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Bihar Board Class 10th Practical Exams will be conducted from 21st January 2025 to 23rd January 2025. It is mandatory for all students to appear in each practical exam. Practical exams are conducted for 30/20 marks. Students will be given marks on the basis of project as well as oral exam which will be conducted by external examiners.

4. ARITHMETIC PROGRESSIONS
Motivation for studying Arithmetic Progression Derivation of the nth term and sum of the first n terms of A.P. and their application in solving daily life problems.

Review: Concepts of coordinate geometry, graphs of linear equations. Distance formula. Section formula (internal division). Area of a triangle.

Division of a line segment in a given ratio (internally).

UNIT V: TRIGONOMETRY
1. INTRODUCTION TO TRIGONOMETRY
Trigonometric ratios of an acute angle of a right-angled triangle. Proof of their existence (well defined); motivate the ratios whichever are defined at 0oand 90º. Values of the trigonometric ratios of 30º, 45º and 60º. Relationships between the ratios.
2. TRIGONOMETRIC IDENTITIES
Proof and applications of the identity sin2A + cos2A = 1. Only simple identities to be given. Trigonometric ratios of complementary angles.
3. HEIGHTS AND DISTANCES: Angle of elevation, Angle of Depression.
Simple problems on heights and distances. Problems should not involve more than two right triangles. Angles of elevation / depression should be only 30°, 45°, 60°.
UNIT VI: MENSURATION
1. AREAS RELATED TO CIRCLES
Motivate the area of a circle; area of sectors and segments of a circle. Problems based on areas and perimeter / circumference of the above said plane figures. (In calculating area of segment of a circle, problems should be restricted to central angle of 60°, 90°and 120° only. Plane figures involving triangles, simple quadrilaterals and circle should be taken.)
2. SURFACE AREAS AND VOLUMES
Surface areas and volumes of combinations of any two of the following: cubes, cuboids, spheres, hemispheres and right circular cylinders/cones. Frustum of a cone. Problems involving converting one type of metallic solid into another and other mixed problems. (Problems with combination of not more than two different solids be taken).
UNIT VII: STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY
1. STATISTICS
Mean, median and mode of grouped data (bimodal situation to be avoided). Cumulative frequency graph.
2. PROBABILITY
The classical definition of probability. Simple problems in finding the probability of an event.

Conditions of eligibility for admission to class X.
1. Candidates who have been studying in a School recognised by or affiliated to this Board or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India.
2. Candidates can not take admission directly in class X.
3. Candidates had completed a regular course of study for class IX and passed class IX examination from a school affilicated to this Board.
4. The candidates percentage for attendance should be 75% so that the Board to make him/her eligible for the Examinations.
5. Candidate can be admitted to a school only on the transfer of the parents(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the marksheet and the Transfer Certificate duly counter signed by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned.
6. There is no age limit for candidates taking the Examination.
7. Candidate should have doucments in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination.

1. This question paper is divided into two sections: Section-A and Section-B.
2. In section-A there are 60 objective type questions (each carrying 1 mark) out of which any 50 questions are to be answered.
3. In section-B, there are 27 short answer type questions (each carrying 2 marks), out of which 15 (fifteen) questions are to be answered.
4. Apart from this, there are 08 long answer type questions (each carrying 5 marks), out of which any 4 questions are to be answered.
And
There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice has been provided in Section A & Section B Short & Long questions.

BIHAR BOARD EXAM CLASS 10TH LATEST UPDATE
Finally, wait is over and Bihar School Examination Board [BSEB] has announced class 10 Board exams date. This year class 10th board exam will be started from 17 February 2025 and will last upto 25 February 2025, it will take around 9 days to complete the class 10th board exam. The board will conduct the class 10 exam in two shifts. The first-shift exams are conducted from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm while the second shift exam will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Bihar Board Class 10th Practical Exams will be conducted from 21st January 2025 to 23rd January 2025. It is mandatory for all students to appear in each practical exam. Practical exams are conducted for 30/20 marks. Students will be given marks on the basis of project as well as oral exam which will be conducted by external examiners.
