Conditions of eligibility for admission to class IX.
1. Candidates who have been studying in a School recognised by or affiliated to this Board or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India.
2. Candidates can not take admission directly in class IX.
3. Candidates had completed a regular course of study for class VIII and passed class VIII examination from a school affilicated to this Board.
4. The candidates percentage for attendance should be 75% so that the Board to make him/her eligible for the Examinations.
5. Candidate can be admitted to a school only on the transfer of the parents(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the marksheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned.
6. There is no age limit for candidates taking the Examination.
7. Candidate should have doucments in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:-

Analysis
1. There are total 52 questions in this question paper, which are divided into four sections History, Political Science, Geography, Economics.
2. Section A (History) - In this section 1 to 10 has 10 questions in 15 marks.
3. Question no. 1 carries 5 marks, Question no. 2 carries 2 marks and Question no. 3 to 10 carries 1 marks of each questions.
4. Section B (Political Science) - In this section 11 to 26 has 16 questions in 25 marks.
5. Question no. 11 carries 5 marks, Question no. 12 & 13 carries 3 marks, Question no. 14 carries 2 marks and 15 to 26 carries 1 marks of each questions.
6. Section C (Geography) - In this section 27 to 44 has 18 questions in 25 marks.
7. Question no. 27 to 41 carries 1 marks of each question, Question no. 42 carries 2 marks, Question no. 43 carries 3 marks and 44 carries 5 marks.
8. Section D (Economics) - In this section 45 to 52 has 8 questions in 15 marks.
9. Question no. 45 to 49 carries 1 marks of each question, Question no. 50 carries 2 marks, Question no. 51 carries 3 marks and Question no. 52 carries 5 marks.
And
There is no overall choice, However, Internal choice is given in 2 long question carrying 5 marks. Question no. 44 & 52. You have to attempt only one of the choices in such questions.
Comment
1. The difficulty level of the Social Science paper : Easy to Moderate.
2. Few of the questions of 3 marks were tricky.
3. The pattern of the Social Science paper was similar to the latest Social Science Sample Paper .
4. All the questions in the paper were asked from the latest syllabus and based on NCERT textbooks.
5. The average range of expected marks was 60 to 70+ (out of 80).
