UP BOARD EXAM LATEST UPDATE

The Class 11 exams depend on the schools, as they decide when to conduct the exams. Usually, the Class 11 exams are held a few months before the final board exams. This gives you the opportunity to prepare for the final board exams and also mentally prepare for them. Therefore, it is better to contact your school regarding the Class 11 exams, and also take advantage of the complete information provided here for the final board exam.

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced class 12 Board exams date. This year class 12th board exam will be started from 24 February 2025 and will last upto 12 March 2025, it will take around 17 days to complete the class 12th board exam. The board will conduct the class 12 exam in two shifts. The first-shift exams are conducted from 8 am to 11:15 am while the second shift exam will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The first exam will be held on 24 February 2025 for Hindi & Military Science subject and the last exam will be held on 12 March 2025 for English & Health care etc. subject.

UP Board 12th practical exams will be held in two phases. The first phase of UPMSP 12th practical exams will be conducted from February 1 to 8, 2025 in the districts namely Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur. The second phase of UP Board 12th practical exams 2025 will be conducted from February 9 to 16, 2025 in the districts including Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti Mandals. UPMSP 12th pre-board exams will be held from 11 to 21 January 2025.

Official Syllabus

The question paper of 100 marks in this subject will be of 3 hours. The entire question paper is divided into two sections-

Integer - 100

(a) Prose, verse, volumes, plays, and stories.

(b) Sanskrit – Prose, Poetry, Essay, Elements of Poetry Beauty, Sanskrit Grammar and Translation

Section A

1- Development of Hindi prose (language structure of prose, changes in genres, contribution of the author and his creations in different periods based on the lessons given in the textbook of prose). (Objective Questions) (1x5=5)

2- Development of poetic literature (prominent poets of different periods and their works) (objective question) (1x5=5)

3- Five questions based on the passages set in the syllabus (10)

4- Five questions (10) based on the given passages in the syllabus

5- (a) Literary introduction, biographies, works, and language style of the authors of the compiled prose texts (5)

(b) Poetry- Poet introduction, literary introduction, biography (5)

6- Summary of stories set in the syllabus and objective-based questions (5)

7- The plot of the play prescribed in the curriculum and characterization of the main characters (5)

Section B

8- (a) Translation of a prose passage into Hindi with references based on the prescribed texts in Sanskrit. (7)

(b) Translation in Hindi with reference to a passage on the basis of prescribed lessons in Sanskrit. (7)

9- Answers of very short answers based on lessons in Sanskrit (any two questions have to be asked) (4)

Eligibility

UP BOARD EXAM LATEST UPDATE

Conditions of eligibility for admission to class XI

1. Candidates who have been studying in a School recognised by or affiliated to this Board or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India.

2. Candidates can not take admission directly in class XI.

3. Candidates had completed a regular course of study for class X and passed class X examination from a school affiliated to this Board

4. The candidate's percentage for attendance should be 75% so that the Board to make him/her eligible for the Examinations.

5. Candidate can be admitted to a school only on the transfer of the parents(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the mark sheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned.

6. There is no age limit for candidates taking the Examination.

7. Candidate should have documents in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination.
