Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced class 10 Board exams date. This year class 10th board exam will be started from 24 February 2025 and will last upto 12 March 2025, it will take around 17 days to complete the class 10th board exam. The board will conduct the class 10 exam in two shifts. The first-shift exams are conducted from 8 am to 11:15 am while the second shift exam will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The first exam will be held on 24 February 2025 for Hindi & Health Care subject and the last exam will be held on 12 March 2025 for State Language & Electrician, Plumber etc. subject.
As in the previous year, practical examinations of high school will be conducted on the basis of internal assessment (project work) at school level. Individual high school candidates will contact the principal of their forwarding centre and ensure their participation in the practical examination. The marks of practical examination (internal assessment), moral, yoga, sports and physical education of high school will be uploaded online on the council's website upmsp.edu.in through the principal of the school. Conditions of eligibility for admission to class IX.
1. Candidates who have been studying in a School recognised by or affiliated to this Board or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India.
2. Candidates can not take admission directly in class IX.
3. Candidates had completed a regular course of study for class VIII and passed class VIII examination from a school affilicated to this Board.
4. The candidates percentage for attendance should be 75% so that the Board to make him/her eligible for the Examinations.
5. Candidate can be admitted to a school only on the transfer of the parents(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the marksheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned.
6. There is no age limit for candidates taking the Examination.
7. Candidate should have doucments in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination.

Difficulty Level
1. Section A - It was the easy section, Question I, II & IV were bit lenghty. Question No. IV was toughest amont all the questions in section A.
2. Section B - It was not the easiest section as section A, Application Writing & paragraph writing was easy. Question No. VI, was bit tough.

The board will conduct the class 10 exam in two shifts. The first-shift exams are conducted from 8 am to 11:15 am while the second shift exam will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The first exam will be held on 24 February 2025 for Hindi & Health Care subject and the last exam will be held on 12 March 2025 for State Language & Electrician, Plumber etc. subject.
As in the previous year, practical examinations of high school will be conducted on the basis of internal assessment (project work) at school level. Individual high school candidates will contact the principal of their forwarding centre and ensure their participation in the practical examination. The marks of practical examination (internal assessment), moral, yoga, sports and physical education of high school will be uploaded online on the council's website upmsp.edu.in through the principal of the school. The website will become active from 10 January 2025 for uploading the marks.
There will be two Section in this Paper. Section A and Section B
1. The total no. of question will be 15.
2. Section A will be 35 marks.
3. In the Section A, Questions no. 1 to 5 will be 4 marks each. Question no. 6 will be 3 marks, Question no. 7 to 9 will be 4 marks each.
4. Section B will be 35 marks.
5. In the Section B, Question no. 10 will be 8 marks, Question no. 11 will be 7 marks, Question 12, and 13 will be 4 marks each, Question no. 14 and 15 will be 6 marks each.
