Theme 1: Listening and Speaking

By the time the children come to the sixth grade, they start understanding the spoken form of the language very well. The ability to express also starts to emerge. Asks for clarification and expresses ideas when necessary. When challenged, he speaks with confidence, appropriate gestures, and in a reasoned manner. Share your information by speaking. Uses formal and informal language according to the occasion and follows the etiquette of speaking.

Theme 2: Reading and Writing (Reading and Writing Skills)

Children read and understand reading material appropriate to their level. Read and absorb material from printed and digital media. Using precise words, idioms, phrases, etc., make written expressions in different modes for different occasions.

Theme 3: Grammar and Language

Children in sixth grade understand the basic forms of language and are familiar with the linguistic structure. They use the grammatically correct language in practice. Use practical grammar appropriately in context.
