Theme 1: Listening and speaking
Children's language gradually starts moving towards maturity. After listening to seminars, discussions, announcements, etc., they understand and respond immediately. Vocabulary and idioms used in specific contexts begin to understand the meaning of proverbs. Says your point with confidence in precise words. Speaking has ebb and flow.
Theme 2: Reading and Writing (Reading and Writing Skills)
Children make sense of and enjoy reading books, newspapers, and magazines other than textbooks. Different types of dictionaries are used for the enhancement of their linguistic ability. Do creative writing in all genres - poetry, story, drama, travelogue, report, memoir, article, etc. Uses grammatically correct language in writing. There is an understanding of mature language in his writings.
Theme 3: Grammar and Language
Children begin to understand the linguistic applications. Begin to understand the complex structures of language. They use the grammatically correct language in their written and oral expression. Identify word distinction, vocabulary, and syntax. In creative writing, one writes essays, letters, diaries, reports, advertisements, stories, dramas, etc.
