Scholarship General Information
Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) launched “Bharati Scheme for Education” (BSE) to encourage Brahmin students of Andhra Pradesh to continue their education. Under this scheme, a Financial Assistance for the academic year will be granted to the eligible poor Brahmin student applicants.
Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must be studying in class 1 to postgraduation.
2. The applicant and his/her parents must be from a Brahmin community and the parents must reside in Andhra Pradesh.
3. The annual family income must not exceed INR 3 Lakh.
4. The applicant must be pursuing a regular course in school/college/institute/university of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2018-19.
5. The candidate must have passed all the subject till their previous year of study.
6. The candidate must not be availing any other scholarship benefit, except the benefits from Archaka Welfare Trust.
7. The candidates studying in class 1 to 10 must be pursuing their education from a government / municipal / ZP schools of Andhra Pradesh.
8. Orphan, differently-abled, children of single-parent are eligible, even if they are studying in private schools of Andhra Pradesh.
9. In order to be eligible to apply, 1st Year B.Tech students must have obtained EAMCET rank below 50,000.
10. Students pursuing Chartered Accountancy Inter (IPCC) must have cleared CPT.
11. Students in the final level of CA must have passed both the groups of IPCC.
12. The CA candidates must not be availing the benefits from the Corporation for the same exam earlier.
Award Amount
1. Students of class 1 to 5 will receive INR 5,000.
2. Students of class 6 to 10 will receive INR 7,000.
3. Intermediate, ITI, Polytechnic, D.Ed, TTC, D.Pharmacy or equivalent students will get a scholarship of INR 10,000.
4. Students pursuing general graduation courses will get INR 15,000 as scholarship amount.
5. Students pursuing professional courses of 4 years or more duration after class 12 will receive INR 20,000.
6. CA Intermediate and Final students will get INR 20,000.
7. Postgraduate students pursuing any course of 2 years or more duration after graduation will receive INR 10,000.

Application Procedure
The application for the scholarship can be submitted online only. Follow the steps mentioned below to complete the application process.

Selection Process
Shortlisting, finalization of applications, and sanction of Financial Assistance will be done by the State Level Selection Committee (SLSC) of A.P. Brahmin Welfare Corporation.

Applicants must upload the scanned copies of the following documents while filling the application form:
Aadhaar card of the applicant with address mentioned on it
Caste certificate and Income certificate issued by MeeSeva in the name of the applicant (1 PDF file)
Marksheets of all the previous years (starting from SSC)
Study certificate from school/college/institute/university
Applicant's bank account passbook (account must be in either Andhra bank or SBI), in case the applicant is studying outside Andhra Pradesh, the bank account can be in any of the nationalised banks
Applicant's passport size photograph
Disability certificate in case the applicant is differently abled
Death certificate of deceased parent (if applicable)
Proof of CPT clearance and proof of registration & fees paid for CA Intermediate students
Proof of IPCC clearance (both parts) along with proof of registration & fees paid for the final exam in case the applicant is in CA Final
