Scholarship General Information
The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation grant is one of the most prestigious grants available to emerging figurative artists, as well as one of the most substantial.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Applicants must be 18 years old and not more than 41 years at the time of applying.
2. Applicants must be pursuing their studies/early/developmental stage of their career/ are working in a representational style of painting, drawing, sculpture or printmaking.
3. The pursuit of abstract or non-objective art not eligible.
4. Applications are invited from around the world.
Award Amount
1. A First grant is CAD $15,000 each, and subsequent grants are in the amount of CAD $18,000 each. Grants are made directly to the beneficiaries, not through other organizations.
2. Grantees may not receive more than three grants in their lifetime.
