Scholarship General Information 

The College Board India Scholars Program offers lower-income students in India two ways to save money as they plan for university.

1. Up to 90% off SAT registration fees.

2. Scholarships at participating Indian universities, including some that cover the full tuition through graduation.

Eligibility Criteria 

1. Students who score 1300 or higher earn the honor of being an SAT India Top Performer. Scholarship recipients have the added distinction of being College Board India Scholars.

2. Annual family income less than 8 lakh(for Full tuition scholarship through graduation).

3. Annual family income between 8 lakh and 15 lakh(for 50% SAT registration discount.


Award Amount  

1. SAT 90% Discount Voucher & 100% tuition fees scholarship: If your Annual family income is less than ₹8 lakh.

2. 50% SAT registration discount: If your Annual family income is between ₹8 lakh and ₹15 lakh.

Application Procedure 

1. Meet the SAT score and annual family income criteria as given.

2. Send your SAT scores from the College Board to India Global Alliance–member universities. SAT scores sent to member universities are free.

3. Apply for admission to an India Global Alliance–member university and fill the application form

4. Meet all other admission requirements at that university.

5. The university will make the final decision about admission and scholarship awards.
